Fit4EU? – Teacher professionalisation for civic education about the EU

This interdisciplinary conference provides a
platform for dialogue between research and practice, offering an opportunity to
share challenges, successful approaches and methods in the field of civic education
on the European Union. The international conference is intended for academics,
teachers from all levels of education, non-formal educators, students,
policymakers, media professionals and other interested citizens.

FIT4EU – the second round

 

In February 2025, the Fit4EU Jean Monnet project entered its second round. The second cycle started with two teacher trainings on 12 and 13 February 2025. 

The 27 and 37 participants enjoyed guest lectures by Martin Große Hüttmann (University of Tübingen, Germany) and a by Members of the European Parliament, Sabrina Repp and Prof. Dr Sven Simon. 

The teacher trainings for civic education on the European Union in English language will start on 12 March 2025.

Poster presentation at the conference of the Society for Civic Education Didactics and Civic Youth and Adult Education (GPJE) 2024

From 5 to 8 June 2024, the 24th annual conference of the Society for Civic Education Didactics and Civic Youth and Adult Education (GPJE) took place at the University of Potsdam. The Fit4EU project presented itself there with a poster – and promptly won the poster prize! We are greatful for the honour and look forward to next year.
